Ria Sherman, Legal Assistant and Office Manager

Ria Sherman and her family came to Texas from California in 1994. She joined Duane’s legal practice in 2000 and has enjoyed the challenges and rewards of the office’s growth. As Ria has been with the firm nearly as long as Duane, she is the go-to person for all things dealing with the office.

She assists the attorneys with family law, guardianship, and Collaborative Law cases. As a legal assistant with over eleven years of experience, she is proud to belong to a firm that goes the extra mile for its clients. Ensuring that their concerns are dealt with quickly and effectively is her goal. If you have a question, just ask her! She is virtually guaranteed to have the answer.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends cooking, biking, going to ball games, or just hanging out. She is an adventurous cook and is always looking for something new to try. Ria used to breed champion Weimaraners, but she has settled down with a new breed, a beagle named Kip, who is the family clown.
