About Us

Duane L. Coker & Associates staffThe offices of Duane L. Coker, P.C., Attorneys at Law, opened in August 1998. We chose to become a part of the Denton County community, because we found Denton to be a place that continues to embrace the traditional values of community. We are proud to be a part of such a caring and connected society. As we’ve grown, we’ve expanded to help represent clients in Collin County and really enjoy helping clients in both counties with their family law cases.

Our main focus is on our clients. We strive to return your phone calls, answer your e-mails, remember your appointments, and treat you like the important person that you are to our family law practice. This might sound like common sense, but we find that the number one complaint of clients who come to us after working with other divorce attorneys is that they did not receive the customer service they felt they deserved and, in many cases, couldn’t even get someone to return their call. We do not have that problem at our office.

We strive to serve our Denton County community by providing clients with the best customer service and legal representation possible. We work hard to determine our clients’ goals, assist them in developing expectations, counsel them as to their options, and represent them in their efforts to reach their ideal scenarios. Our family law and divorce attorneys always counsel our clients to preserve relationships to the extent possible and to act in a dignified, child-centered way to preserve and protect the best interests of their families.

We even stay in touch with clients after their legal matter is completed and many of our clients choose to become fans of our law office Facebook Page.  Check us out on Facebook at Duane L. Coker & Associates, P.C.

Our Practice Areas

Duane L. Coker and his associates, Kelly K. E. RobbJacqueline D. Cannon, Kimberly P. KillebrewBonnie S. Bundens, and Marci B. Martinez are family lawyers with combined experience in Denton and Collin Counties of more than 20 years. Divorce may comprise most of our case load, but our attorneys are just as experienced with other family law matters. Our office helps clients in Denton and Collin County with child custody litigation, child support, modifications of either, enforcement of any family law court orders, and adoptions.

We also handle probate litigation, including guardianships, probating Wills, and Will contests.

One of our areas of practice that we are most excited about is assisting clients with Collaborative Law cases. In these cases, clients agree to settle their case with the opposing party in a dignified and efficient manner without contested Court proceedings.

Duane L. Coker, Kelly K. E. Robb, and Jacqueline D. Cannon are trained in Collaborative Law. Duane is a charter member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and is active in both local and international Collaborative Law groups.

We are happy to assist Denton County and Collin County clients in any of our primary law practice areas.
