Coker, Robb & Cannon, Family Lawyers opened in August 1998. We chose to become a part of the Denton County, and later Collin & Tarrant County communities, because we found these areas to be a region that continues to embrace the traditional values of community. We have offices in Denton, Frisco, and Fort Worth to serve these communities well.
We are proud to be a part of such a caring and connected society. As we’ve grown, we’ve expanded to help represent clients in Collin County and really enjoy helping clients in both counties with their family law cases. Our firm has had the pleasure and distinction of being named Best Family Law Firm by the Best of Denton County and "Best Law Firms" by U.S. News Best Lawyers.
Our main focus is on our clients. We strive to return your phone calls, answer your emails, and treat you like the important person that you are to our family law practice. This might sound like common sense, but we find that the number one complaint of clients who come to us after working with other attorneys is that they did not receive the customer service they felt they deserved and, in many cases, couldn’t even get someone to return their call. I have only been through a divorce once in my life and I thought I would hire a "big name" lawfirm in Dallas to handle my case. Well long story short, all the "big name" lawfirm did was rake me over the coals for money then dropped me like a bad habit after they sucked me dry! I immediately started looking for another lawyer locally in the Denton area and was referred to Duane Coker. I was reffered to Duane by another lawyer that doesn't specialize in divore or family law and was told he would treat me right. Well they were right! He made me feel very comfortable and told the the honest truth about things. He saw what my previous lawyer did to me and what my wife's attorney was doing to me. I am so glad he took my case and got my divorce finalized! He was very up front with things and kept me in loop on everything. The only regret I have is I should have used Duane from the begining! Duane was able to calm me down and came up with an idea for the settlement that not only saved me and the ex money, but actually made his fees LESS EXPENSIVE!!! Our legal team has over 110 years of combined experience in many areas of family law in Denton County & Collin County.
Three of our firm's attorneys—Duane L. Coker, Kelly K. E. Robb, and Jacqueline Cannon — are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Family Law, a prestigious legal accomplishment in the field. Divorce may comprise most of our caseload, but our attorneys are just as experienced with other family law matters.

One of our areas of practice that we are most excited about is assisting clients with Collaborative Divorce cases. In these cases, clients agree to settle their case with the opposing party in a dignified and efficient manner without contested Court proceedings. In addition to family law, we will handle select criminal law matters.
