Toya Brown, Legal AssistantToya Brown moved to Denton in August of 2000 to attend the University of North Texas.  She obtained her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences in Political Science and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  Her long term goal is to practice law and work hard enough to eventually get elected as a Denton County District Court Judge.

She started her future legal career in the Civil and Family Division of the Denton County District Clerk’s Office, and four years later, she joined Duane L. Coker & Associates, P.C. in 2011. Toya handles both family law and guardianship cases for our office.

Toya is happily married to her college sweetheart, and they have three beautiful children.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing, dancing, swimming, and watching football.
