Lacee Young, Legal Assistant

Lacee, Certified ParalegalLacee Young grew up in Lubbock, TX and graduated from Monterey Senior High School in 2004. Upon graduation she attended Texas Tech University and then transferred to the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology in 2009. Prior to coming to Duane L. Coker & Associates, she worked full-time for the marketing department for one of the top selling communities in North Texas, Lantana.

Lacee joined Duane’s office as a Legal Secretary in January 2010, where she then worked her way up to become a Legal Assistant in December 2010. She received a certificate from the University of North Texas in April, 2011 after a short course in paralegal training. She assists the attorneys with their family law matters.

Interesting things about Lacee:

  • Lacee is the youngest of five children and an aunt to five nieces and three nephews.
  • Lacee was a ballet dancer for fifteen years and was on her high school dance team.
  • She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.
